Softball Recap: George Walton Academy Takes a Loss

George Walton Academy entered their game against Tattnall Square Academy on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bulldogs took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-2 on August 9th.

George Walton Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Tattnall Square Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

George Walton Academy will welcome Bethlehem Christian Academy at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tattnall Square Academy, they will take on Mount de Sales Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
