Baseball Recap: Messalonskee Comes Up Short

Messalonskee's last matchup with Bangor could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Wednesday. The Eagles lost 19-7 to the Rams. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Sean Achorn was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played.

Messalonskee's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Bangor, they pushed their record up to 10-2-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
