Soccer Recap: Concord Comes Up Short

The Concord Bears came up short against the Kennedy Eagles on Saturday, falling 5-1.

Concord's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8-2. As for Kennedy, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2-1 record this season.

Coming up, Concord will head out on the road to square off against Berean Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Berean Christian will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Concord surely won't give up without a fight. Kennedy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
