Baseball Game Preview: Hastings Raiders vs. Eagan Wildcats

The Hastings Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Eagan Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Hastings 3.9, Eagan 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Hastings let Apple Valley stack four runs on them in the seventh inning on Monday but luckily Hastings prevailed anyway. The Raiders narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Eagles 5-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Eagan, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over Apple Valley on Wednesday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Eagan's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Hastings, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.
