Basketball Recap: Goodpasture Christian Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Brooklyn Jones and Addi Ruffin

Goodpasture Christian's loss on Friday came despite strong showings from Addi Ruffin and Brooklyn Jones. Ruffin posted 14 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals, while Jones earned 18 points. Ruffin is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The Webb School's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Laine Lyles, who had ten points along with seven boards and three steals. Daria Biriuk was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Goodpasture Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 20-8. As for The Webb School, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 21 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-7 record this season.
