Soccer Recap: Chestatee's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Chestatee couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 3-1 to the Johnson Knights on Tuesday. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Chestatee couldn't quite close it out.

Chestatee moved to 15-5 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak. As for Johnson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Chestatee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Johnson, they will face off against Oconee County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Oconee County will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Johnson surely won't give up without a fight.
