Basketball Recap: Arcadia Takes a Loss

Arcadia has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 58-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chino Hills Huskies on Tuesday. The Apaches were not able to make up for their defeat to the Huskies from their previous meeting back in May of 2021.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chino Hills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaylee Salce, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 boards. Salce has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Audrey Yoo was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Arcadia's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Chino Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Arcadia will take on Glendale at 5:15 p.m. on January 7th. As for Chino Hills, they will face off against Los Osos at 6:30 p.m. on January 8th.
