Softball Recap: Boulder Comes Up Short

Boulder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-0 to the Westminster Wolves. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Boulder saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendal Evans, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.

Boulder's defeat dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Westminster, they moved to 10-12 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Boulder will square off against Brighton at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Westminster, they will challenge Mountain Range at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.86 runs per game on average), something the Wolves will no doubt try to take advantage of.
