Gloucester proved they can win big on Monday (they won by nine) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Warhill Lions 4-2. This was a revenge game for the Dukes: when they faced off against the Lions back in April, they had to take a 7-4 loss.

Gloucester's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Boulay, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Gloucester is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-14 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Warhill, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-7.

As of now, neither Gloucester nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
