Softball Recap: Marietta Comes Up Short

Marietta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 17-0 to the Dickson Comets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Friday.

Marietta's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Dickson, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Looking ahead, Marietta will venture away from home to take on Comanche at 5:00 p.m. on the 28th. As for Dickson, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-2 victory against Durant on the 22nd.
