Preview: Palmdale Falcons vs. Highland Bulldogs
Palmdale is 0-10 against Highland since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Palmdale Falcons will be home for the holidays to greet the Highland Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Palmdale comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 17 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
On Monday, Palmdale had to suffer through a rough 79-11 loss at the hands of Antelope Valley. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Palmdale has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Highland beat Quartz Hill 57-44 on Thursday. Given Highland's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 149th, while Quartz Hill is ranked 759th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Palmdale has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Highland, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-3.
