It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Loganville Christian Academy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the George Walton Academy Bulldogs, sneaking past 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lions have posted since August 9th.

The victory made it two in a row for Loganville Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 8-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for George Walton Academy, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-5.

Looking ahead, Loganville Christian Academy will venture away from home to square off against Calvary Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
