The Wahawks had just enough and edged out the Rams 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Wahawks: when they faced off against the Rams on Thursday, they had to take a 9-1 loss.

Waterloo West is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-12 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for Dubuque Senior, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.
