Football Game Preview: West Broward Bobcats vs. Miramar Patriots + Official Tickets

The West Broward Bobcats will take on the Miramar Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Miramar will take on a team with plenty of momentum: West Broward extended their winning streak to five on Friday. The Bobcats took their matchup with ease, bagging a 54-0 win over Miami Beach. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won three contests by 25 points or more so far this season.

It was another big night for Brandin Mincy, who threw for 317 yards and four touchdowns on perfect 15-for-15 passing, and also rushed for 52 yards on only five carries. A healthy portion of Mincy's aerial production (87 yards to be exact) went to Kedarius Rhaney.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Miramar). They breezed past North Miami to the tune of 46-6 last Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Pioneers: they've now won three in a row.

Miramar's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for West Broward, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

West Broward was able to grind out a solid win over Miramar when the teams last played back in March of 2016, winning 7-0. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
