Providence Christian Academy and Greater Atlanta Christian are an even 5-5 against one another since August of 2018, but likely not for long. The Storm will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Spartans at 5:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Providence Christian Academy's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Greater Atlanta Christian has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

On Thursday, Providence Christian Academy got the win against Rabun County by a conclusive 10-2. The result was nothing new for the Storm, who have now won eight games by eight runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Maddie Simmasouk, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. She also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Sophie Perry, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Providence Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rabun County only posted an OBP of .190.

Meanwhile, Greater Atlanta Christian came up short against Pickens last Wednesday, falling 15-7.

Greater Atlanta Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Providence Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 13-13.

Providence Christian Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Greater Atlanta Christian in their previous matchup back in September, sneaking past 6-5. Do the Storm have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
