Baseball Recap: Piedmont Academy Cougars vs. First Presbyterian Day Vikings

Piedmont Academy lost against First Presbyterian Day on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cougars fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 5-4. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Zach Simmons was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
