Baseball Recap: Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves vs. Oak Forest Bengals
Thornton Fractional South extended their losing streak to ten on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 4-16-1 in the process. They lost 15-0 to the Oak Forest Bengals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bengals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on Monday.
As for Oak Forest, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8-1 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.7 runs.
For Oak Forest's part, Hayden Noha looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave Noha a new career-high.
