Basketball Recap: McClatchy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Fortune Early College on Tuesday, McClatchy came back down to earth. The Lions took a 47-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Redwood Giants on Saturday.

McClatchy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Redwood, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, McClatchy will head out on the road to face off against Pleasant Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Redwood, they will be taking part in a tournament against St. Patrick-St. Vincent at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
