Springboro is 9-1 against Fairmont since August of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers will be taking part in a tournament against the Firebirds at 7:00 p.m. Springboro is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

If Fairmont heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Springboro took over last week. The Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over Anderson on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Rowen Arnold as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in August, Fairmont was forced to settle for a draw on Tuesday. They and Loveland finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw. Fairmont had to tread lightly for part of the contest as Grey Danner and Bienvenu Niyonkuru were both handed yellow cards, which could explain the final result.

Springboro's victory bumped their record up to 12-2-2. With that draw, Fairmont's record moves to 12-3-2.

Springboro beat Fairmont by a goal in their previous matchup back in September, winning 4-3. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Firebirds have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
