Albia had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Chariton on Tuesday. The Blue Demons' pitchers stepped up to hand the Chargers a 6-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Blue Demons, who have now won 14 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Albia's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-1.
