It was a proper cat-fight when North Rock Creek challenged Cleveland on Thursday. The Cougars put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won nine matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

North Rock Creek is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Cleveland, they dropped their record down to 3-16 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home.
