Basketball Recap: Forest Hills Rangers vs. Chestnut Ridge Lions

Make it seven blowout wins for the Forest Hills Rangers this season. They claimed a resounding 44-15 win over Chestnut Ridge at home. The victory was nothing new for Forest Hills as they're now sitting on five straight.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Forest Hills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alexis Henderson, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Mcleary, who scored seven points along with three blocks and two steals.

Forest Hills is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Chestnut Ridge, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forest Hills will take on the Rams at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Richland focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Thursday. As for Chestnut Ridge, they will head out on the road to challenge the Mountaineers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Philipsburg-Osceola is on a three-game streak of home losses, the Lions a six-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
