Baseball Game Preview: Coffee Trojans vs. Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets

The Coffee Trojans will face off against the Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Coffee came up short against Thomas County Central and fell 7-4. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Thomas County Central's part, Braden Griffin looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Griffin has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Landon Walsh, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Matthew Anuez, who scored three runs and stole Two bases.

The win got Thomas County Central back to even at 6-6. As for Coffee, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.
