Oakes beats Carrington for their fourth straight win

Recap: Oakes Tornadoes vs. Carrington Cardinals
On Saturday, The Oakes Tornadoes faced the Carrington Cardinals in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Oakes snuck past Carrington with a 27-21 win. The win was familiar territory for Oakes who now have four in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Oakes to victory, but perhaps none more so than Blayson Dolney, who threw for 259 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per attempt. Max Walock did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 130 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Oakes' victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-2. As for Carrington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.
Oakes will head out on the road to face off against Kindred at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kindred will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line. Carrington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
