Basketball Recap: Freeport Takes a Loss

Freeport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Oakland Catholic 58-11. The match marked the Yellowjackets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Freeport's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Oakland Catholic, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Freeport will look to defend their home court on Monday against Valley at 7:30 p.m. As for Oakland Catholic, they will challenge Western Reserve Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Western Reserve Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.9 points per game this season.
