Basketball Game Preview: Scripps Ranch Falcons vs. Fallbrook Warriors

The Scripps Ranch Falcons will take on the Fallbrook Warriors in a holiday battle at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Scripps Ranch will be strutting in after a win while Fallbrook will be coming in after a loss.

While Scripps Ranch's victory against Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Falcons narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Spartans 45-43. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted since February 12th.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 64-35, which was the final score in Fallbrook's tilt against Grossmont on Saturday. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Scripps Ranch has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for Fallbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Scripps Ranch didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Fallbrook in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 49-44 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Warriors' Grace Nordeen, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 15 boards.
