Softball Game Preview: South Effingham Mustangs vs. Glynn Academy Terrors

For the second straight game, South Effingham will face off against Glynn Academy. The Mustangs will challenge the Terrors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (South Effingham has won 13 straight at home dating back to last season, while Glynn Academy won seven straight on the road), something that'll have to change.

South Effingham is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Glynn Academy just ended the team's 12-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Terrors. The Mustangs were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the three games prior), but the Terrors' pitchers proved too tough.

South Effingham's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 12-2. As for Glynn Academy, their win bumped their record up to 19-3.
