Baseball Game Preview: Wauseon Indians vs. Maumee Panthers

The Wauseon Indians will face off against the Maumee Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, Wauseon didn't have quite enough to beat Paulding and fell 9-8.

Kahle Albright made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Thad Reckner, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Maumee was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They came up short against Otsego, falling 8-2. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Wauseon now has a losing record of 9-10-1. As for Maumee, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7.
