Football Recap: Minneola Skates Past Wheatland-Grinnell with Ease

It's playoff time, and Minneola had no trouble coming through when it counted. They claimed a resounding 48-18 win over the Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Minneola didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off six passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Kaos Aldridge, Coy Denison, and Cash Lang picked up one apiece.

Minneola's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Wheatland-Grinnell, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Minneola will challenge Hodgeman County on Friday. The Longhorns' defense has only allowed 4.4 points per game this season, so the Wildcats' offense will have their work cut out for them. Wheatland-Grinnell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
