Softball Recap: Winfield Beats St. Charles for Their Third Straight Win

Winfield put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the St. Charles Pirates a 12-0 shutout. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Winfield's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for St. Charles, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Winfield will head out on the road to take on Warrenton at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Charles, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wright City at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
