Softball Recap: Oak Hill Academy Takes a Loss

Oak Hill Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Tri-County Academy Rebels, falling 14-3. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Raiders, who until this matchup were averaging four runs allowed.

Oak Hill Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ella Margaret Gable, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Oak Hill Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Tri-County Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

While Oak Hill Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
