Baseball Game Preview: Utica Chieftains vs. Fraser Ramblers

The Utica Chieftains will face off against the Fraser Ramblers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Utica will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.

Utica took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over Sterling Heights Stevenson.

Meanwhile, Fraser was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of University Liggett.

Utica's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-16. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Fraser, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-13.
