Baseball Recap: Westminster Comes Up Short

Westminster extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping their season record down to 6-15 in the process. They came up short against the Kell Longhorns, falling 10-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Longhorns this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss on Thursday.

As for Kell, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 20-8. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their two-run performance the game before.

For Kell's part, the team relied heavily on Patrick Honeyman, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Those two hits gave Honeyman a new career-high.

As of now, neither Westminster nor Kell have any future games scheduled.
