West Monona entered their tilt with Harlan on Tuesday with 14 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 15. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Cyclones an 8-0 shutout. Considering the Spartans have won 16 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

West Monona pushed their record up to 25-6 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Harlan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-21.
