Soccer Game Preview: Bryan County vs. Portal

Bryan County is 0-7 against Portal since February of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Bryan County Redskins will head out to take on the Portal Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Bryan County is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to Claxton. That's two games in a row now that the Redskins have lost by exactly ten goals.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Portal challenged Claxton on Friday. Portal took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Claxton. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Portal's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Bryan County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Bryan County suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Portal when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can Bryan County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
