Soccer Game Preview: Cherokee Bluff vs. East Forsyth

Cherokee Bluff is 0-3 against East Forsyth since February of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Cherokee Bluff Bears will welcome the East Forsyth Broncos at 7:30 p.m. Cherokee Bluff will be strutting in after a win while East Forsyth will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with eight losses in a row, Cherokee Bluff turned things around against Monroe Area on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Purple Hurricanes. The win was all the more spectacular given the Bears' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 345th, while the Purple Hurricanes are ranked 123rd).

Meanwhile, East Forsyth fought the good fight in their overtime game against Eastside on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 4-3. The Broncos' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

East Forsyth's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Cherokee Bluff, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.
