Softball Recap: Northeast Drops Highest Score of Season Against Westside

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northeast). They were the clear victors by a 17-4 margin over the Westside Seminoles on Monday. The win was some much needed relief for the Raiders as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Northeast's victory bumped their record up to 4-15. As for Westside, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Northeast and Westside could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Raiders will face off against Bleckley County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (400 vs. 179). Meanwhile, Westside (ranked 401st) will meet Jackson (ranked 137th) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
