Softball Recap: Eisenhower Comes Up Short

Eisenhower was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They fell 5-1 to the Edmond North Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-3 back in August.

Eisenhower's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Edmond North, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-15.

Eisenhower and Edmond North could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. The Eagles (ranked 236th) will meet Westmoore (ranked 59th) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Edmond North will challenge Lone Grove at 10:00 a.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (133 vs. 3).
