If Carrollton was riding high fresh off their 76-25 takedown of Chapel Hill last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Carrollton Trojans fell just short of the Lakeview Academy Lions by a score of 46-43 on Friday. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Carrollton's loss dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Lakeview Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-6.

Carrollton and Lakeview Academy should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. Carrollton will take on Douglas County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 384 places (16 vs. 400). Carrollton is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. Meanwhile, Lakeview Academy (ranked 51st) will meet Forsyth Central (ranked 314th) at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
