Soccer Recap: Rockmart Takes a Loss

Rockmart's game on Friday was all tied up 2-2 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Paulding County Patriots by a score of 5-4. Riley Gober is probably feeling rather frustrated with he team right now: they lost despite he posting three goals.

Rockmart is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. As for Paulding County, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rockmart will welcome Sonoraville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Paulding County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mt. Zion at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
