Central Valley put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Palmer Tigers 52-6. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska football rankings (they are ranked first, while the Tigers are ranked 100th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Central Valley's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Palmer, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Central Valley will square off against rival Chambers/Wheeler Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Palmer is set to take on their familiar foe Anselmo-Merna at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
