Football Game Preview: North Miami Beach Chargers vs. Monsignor Pace Spartans + Official Tickets

The North Miami Beach Chargers will take on the Monsignor Pace Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

North Miami Beach made up a huge gap compared to their last game against South Dade, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Chargers fell just short of the Buccaneers by a score of 25-22 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Chargers in their meetings with the Buccaneers: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Monsignor Pace played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Cardinal Mooney 47-6. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-0.

North Miami Beach's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Monsignor Pace, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

North Miami Beach ended up a good deal behind Monsignor Pace in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, losing 14-0. Thankfully for the Chargers, Sean Ponder (who threw for 194 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 16 passes, and also rushed for 50 yards) won't be suiting up this time.
