Kingfisher strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Edmond North Huskies.

The team relied heavily on Callie Blair, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Kendall Farrar, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Kingfisher's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Edmond North, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-8.

Looking ahead, Kingfisher will host Bishop McGuinness at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Fighting Irish have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.56 runs per game on average), something the Yellowjackets will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Edmond North, they are taking a road trip to take on Piedmont at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Huskies' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
