Basketball Recap: Lanesville Beats Perry Central for Their Sixth Straight Win

Lanesville had won five straight games and Hadley Crosier did her part to make it six on Tuesday. The Lanesville Eagles put the hurt on the Perry Central Commodores with a sharp 59-34 victory thanks in part to Crosier, who went 10 for 15 on her way to 25 points along with six assists and four steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Lanesville's points.

Shelby Allen was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 18 rebounds. Those 18 boards gave her a new career-high.

Lanesville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for Perry Central, they dropped their record down to 12-8 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Lanesville and Perry Central should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings. Similarly, Perry Central will take on Pike Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 176 places (165 vs. 341).
