Baseball Recap: Oceanside Gets the Win

After losing to Medomak Valley the last time they met, Oceanside decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Mariners came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 8-4 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mariners.

Levi Philbrook was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Willis, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Oceanside's record is now 4-7. As for Medomak Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oceanside will welcome Winslow at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Medomak Valley, they will host Erskine Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
