Orange won the last time they faced Northwood and Star Thomas did his part to make sure it happened again. The Panthers snuck past the Timberwolves with a 34-28 victory on Friday with plenty of help from Thomas, who threw for 361 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 70 yards and one score on only six carries. His passing game has become a key predictor of Orange's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 2-3 otherwise.

Orange's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Northwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
