Hendricks came up big in Forest Park's 10-3 loss
Jacoby Hendricks turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than eight strikeouts in Thursday's first game. He was dynamite, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits.
Even though Hendricks couldn't lead Forest Park over Mundy's Mill, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. in Thursday's second game. Hendricks has dominated as far as earned runs are concerned (he's averaged 0.9 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering Mundy's Mill has only allowed 4.77 per game this season.
