Basketball Recap: Credo Piles Up the Points Against Technology

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Credo). They blew past the Technology Titans 52-13 on Tuesday. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Gryphon had established a 38 point advantage.

Credo's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maya Leach led the charge by putting up 11 points. Reilly Fay was another key player, posting 13 points.

Despite the loss, Technology still got an impressive performance from Samiksha Shrestha, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Gwen Kliewer, who had five points.

Credo has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 3-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.3 points per game. As for Technology, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Credo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 47-10 win against Summerfield Waldorf on the 19th. As for Technology, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Roseland University Prep at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
