Soccer Recap: Napa Comes Up Short

Napa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Casa Grande Gauchos, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, the Grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 983rd, while the Gauchos are ranked 114th).

Napa's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Casa Grande, their win bumped their record up to 7-0-2.

Napa will venture away from home to square off against Justin-Siena at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Casa Grande, they will face off against American Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Casa Grande is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5 goals per game this season.
