Softball Recap: Hebron Christian Lions vs. Dawson County Tigers
Hebron Christian had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Dawson County Tigers, sneaking past 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lions have posted since September 14, 2024.

Hebron Christian got a great performance from Kate Kennedy as she pitched 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. The dominant performance also gave Kennedy a new career-high in strikeouts (five).
On the hitting side, Hebron Christian let Juls Huber and Leah Jensen run wild. Huber went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI, while Jensen went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases Huber has posted since back in October of 2024. Rylie Walker was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
